No current ETA on when the update will be available, but at least they are starting to get enough people calling about it. I am now running Software Version 1.08.652.11 710RD -- this update was supposed to fix the battery-indicator issue that was present on some phones, including mine. Maybe most users don't use their phone as their alarm clock, but for those of us who do, this is pretty bad. Going to try deleting all my alarms and set several through out today to see how it goes. It does not seem to be a deep sleep issue. This does include your contacts. It never happens when the phone is in a docking station and Bedside is running (and preventing the screen from turning off). I noticed that if I "killed" the clock/calendar, then the alarms would fail to sound as the app wasn't running.
It might also be worth noting that when I was having this problem, no third-party alarm apps would play the stock alarm sounds either. I had this happen as well but thought it was something to do with the car navigation mode. Wondering also if it have anything to do with the "Enable Always On Mobile" which I have just turned off few days ago.
