Couldn't find how to un-mute it anywhere online but I figured it out. Sometimes if I hold the speaker right up to my ear I can just barely hear the sound but I'm not about to hold the thing up to my ear and I have replaced ear jack and soldered in two new speakers but still sound is distorted. iResQ is not affiliated with Apple Inc., and is an independent service and repair entity.
