How can I fix it? I've also looked at logic board and ribbons and detect no signs of liquid exposure(no dried wine that I can see). I do not ever remember any sort of liquid getting in contact with my iphone, but it is behaving very much like many of us here are experiencing. Preferably the rice should be in a resealable bag, if not use a bowl and then put cling film over it after the iPhone has been put in the rice. Hopefully that cleans up the clog. My phone got a little damp today and i wasn't hearing anything from the regular speaker- i could use speakerphone, my ringtone and other sounds were working, but the in-call speaker

I was pleased to see that the phone worked fine. It's entirely possible for the internal speaker to be damaged but for the headphone jack, which is almost always a different hardware component, to remain perfectly intact. You saved my life! Yay!

By using a hairdryer on the low heat setting, hover it above the speaker area and also the headphone jack port. Mu resort was apple & explaining and praying I don't have 2paybut your solution worked amazing!!! If you can't get it to work, and you are still in contract, you can try eBay for a used one until you can get a new one... so i was freaking out because my phone is only a few months old.

Took a few go's I didn't think it wAs gonna work but it did! what i did (and it worked after a few minutes of cleaning) i cut off the tips of Q-Tips leaving about a centimeter of the cotton on the stick.
