However, if I choose "speaker" option while on the call, they can hear me perfectly. I think the cold has permanently damaged the button somehow. I’m 99% sure that the button in the headset works by shorting the mic return line to ground, changing the apparent resistance of the mic circuit. I told them how my mic/remote wasn't working and they immediately sent out a new pair via next day via Fedex! TomM This just worked for me too.
