It's probably an old, leftover file since it was last modified in 2009. Should I report it? Anyhow, if you're using a fully updated Mozilla Firefox, you should be using the HTML5 player under Youtube at least and it should be working. Problem solved. Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode|Safe Mode]] to check if one of Click on "Advanced" and choose the General" tab. Disabling features is a lot of times only needed temporarily and you need to check regularly if it works in a next release.
